WEATHER
Any time you come to Saint-Petersburg take an umbrella with you because
it is very humid.
Spring: The temperatures and weather fluctuate at the
beginning of spring but generally the weather, although some times chilly, is
frequently fine.
Summer: The weather is generally warm during the white
nights period of May and June. The weather can become hot reaching over 30 C
which with the relatively high humidity levels can be uncomfortable.
Autumn:September and October can be particularly
beautiful with foliage changes and some fine weather. Snow can come as early as
October but is more usual in November or December. The temperatures towards the
end of the autumn can change by 10 C or 15 C overnight.
Winter: Normally with snow and ice with a thaws
starting in March. Temperatures are normally between +5 C and occasionally down
to -20 C.
