Federal Migration Service should be notified about your arrival within 7 business days upon arrival (starting from the date of arrival) to the Russian Federation (excluding weekends and official holidays).
If you depart within 7 business days you do not need to register. Also if you travel from city to city (or takeTransiberian train), staying at each city for less then 7 business days you also do not need to register - just keep your travel tickets with you!

There are three ways to get registered:
- Visa registration at a hotel where you are staying. If you are going to stay at a hotel, then the hotel must take care of your visa registration.
- Visa registration through our partner agency. You have to call the Travel Russia office within 7 working days from the date of arrival (date of arrival is included in these 7 days). They will perform the data of your visa registration in the OVIR (Police).
- Visa registration at the police with apartments owner. In case the owner is not able to register you, please contact your inviting travel agency or company during first 7 working days.
Registration in Saint-Petersburg
Upon arrival in St. Petersburg you need to come or call our partner's office within 7 working days, including the day of your arrival. Our partner's office is conviniently located on 2B-A Suvorovsky prospect (at the coner of Nevsky pr.), office 206; Metro station Ploshchad Vosstaniya. Tel.+7(812) 407-20-15 (GMT +3). Open from 9 a.m.till 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. If it is difficult for you to travel to the office, the manager can offer you online registration. Documents: passport, migration card. Cost starts from 1500 roubles for up to 1 month registration in St Petersburg. With time violations the cost is higher.
